Coil Vessel
Sketches were overall excellent. A few people did not turn in all 11 sketches. Get those turn in today!!!
The slab rimmed dishes should be drying. If they are they are light grey and room temperature, they can be place on the greenware cart in the kiln room.
New clay needs to be prepared. We will be extruding a lot, so some of the clay should be softer.
You must have your sketches at your tables in the clayroom everyday.

Ceramics I Students:
Here is the slab rimmed dish with the frog posts inside the bowl. If you choose to add the frog post, be sure you create passages in each post for the water to move from the bowl into the posts.
We will be completing these pieces in class today, but they can be worked on outside of class until Friday of this week.
Tomorrow we will be starting our Coil Pot Construction unit.
Ceramics II Students:
I added a tab for you with a couple of other videos that I thought you would find helpful as you begin practicing forming vases. You can log on to my computer by selecting switch user. Remember not to shut it down when your done. Just log off.
